Namo Bharat Train Finally Planned to Open in 2 Days. Delhi No More Far From Meerut.

The Namo Bharat Train, part of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, is set to begin operations till Delhi by January 5. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the Sahibabad to Anand Vihar section, marking a significant step in modernizing urban transport infrastructure.

Route and Connectivity

The new corridor will cover a distance of 13 kilometers, connecting Sahibabad to Anand Vihar with multiple stops along the route. Once fully operational, the Delhi-Meerut corridor will span 42 kilometers, serving 11 stations and significantly reducing travel time.

Security Arrangements

To ensure smooth operations and passenger safety:

• Four security companies, including PISF, will be deployed.
• 2,000 security personnel, including civil police and private security, will monitor stations and trains.
• CCTV surveillance systems and police checkpoints will be set up at major stations.

Key Highlights of the Inauguration Event

After receiving the ticket at Sahibabad Station, the Prime Minister is expected to travel on the Namo Bharat Train to Anand Vihar Station. This journey will symbolize the official opening of the route to the public.
