The Lucknow-Saharanpur train will cover the distance in about 7 hours and 45 minutes, benefiting commuters from several cities. The Firozpur-Delhi train will be the fastest on its route, while the Ernakulam-Bengaluru train will save over 2 hours for passengers.
During the launch, Prime Minister Modi was welcomed by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. The new Vande Bharat trains feature advanced technology for a better travel experience and are designed to be environmentally friendly.
The Vande Bharat train to Khajuraho is carrying 520 school children and other guests. Some trains at Banaras station have been rescheduled due to the event, including the Banaras-Dehradun and Banaras-LTT trains, with updates available on the National Train Inquiry System.
