– The next meeting of opposition parties is expected to be convened after the monsoon session of Parliament, which will begin on July 20 and continue till August 20.

– The meeting was originally planned to be held in Shimla on July 13 and 14 but was shifted to Bengaluru due to heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh.
– The announcement of the meeting’s postponement comes after NCP patriarch Sharad Pawar had announced the change in venue.
– The first opposition parties’ meeting was held in Patna on June 23, and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had announced that the next meeting would take place in Shimla on either July 10 or 12.
