Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the New Generation Swift in Japan, sparking anticipation for its debut in India. Revealed at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show, the car showcases revamped design, enhanced features, and a power-packed engine.
Expected to hit the Indian roads in the second half of 2024, the New Generation Swift promises a modern and updated look.

The Japanese variant boasts a 1197cc, 12-valve DOHC engine with mild hybrid technology, delivering 82 bhp peak power and 108 Nm maximum torque.
The hybrid system is self-charging, ensuring the battery charges automatically upon starting the car. The Swift’s mileage is expected to reach 24.5 Kmpl, offering an efficient and eco-friendly drive.

The New Generation Swift introduces a complete makeover with a more modern and aggressive design. Notable changes include a new front grille, redesigned bumpers, bonnet, dual-tone alloy wheels, blacked-out ORVMs, and updated LED tail lights at the rear.
