Suzuki Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation are enhancing their collaboration to provide a battery electric SUV model, primarily manufactured by Suzuki. This partnership builds on their existing work with hybrid vehicles sold in India, including the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

While Maruti Suzuki’s first electric vehicle (EV) is yet to begin mass production, spy shots have offered a glimpse into the anticipated features of the upcoming model.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Expected Specs

The Maruti Suzuki eVX is projected to have dimensions of 4,300 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height. It will come equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack, likely providing a driving range of up to 550 km on a single charge, though final specifications will be confirmed at launch.

The eVX is set to feature LED headlights, a rear spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna. Unlike the concept model, the production vehicle will include a conventional steering wheel, alloy wheels, and a more practical interior layout. Inside, a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as other modern amenities, is expected to enhance the driving experience.
