Mahindra is gearing up to unveil five new vehicles at an event this week as part of its Independence Day celebrations. According to teasers and leaked invites, the company will showcase three Vision concept SUVs alongside a new pick‑up concept and a new platform.
The Vision SXT is expected to evolve from Mahindra’s Global Pik Up, hinting at a rugged ladder‑frame chassis and dual‑cab design. The Vision S will illustrate a fully electric version of the Scorpio N, complete with a tailgate‑mounted spare wheel, side‑hinged rear door and repositioned tail lamps. Meanwhile, the Vision X will foreshadow the electric XUV700 (dubbed XUV.e8 or XEV 7e) and may showcase a panoramic three‑screen dashboard inspired by Mahindra’s BE concepts.
Mahindra is also tipped to tease the next‑generation Bolero that could retain a 1.5‑litre diesel engine and to display a near‑production electric Thar. These unveilings will signal Mahindra’s design and technology direction for the coming years, with market launches expected to begin within the next couple of years.
