Mahindra BE.05 Electric Car Coming. Common Man Budget 500 KM Finally Out.

The production version of the Mahindra BE.05 retains most of its design elements from the concept car. Key features include C-shaped LED daytime running lights, glossy black body cladding, and aero-spec dual-tone alloy wheels. The sloping roofline and LED light bars connecting the taillights enhance its visual appeal. Additionally, it carries over the chunky rear diffuser from the concept model.

However, some design modifications have been made. The production version features conventional ORVMs instead of the sleeker cameras from the concept, and it reinstates flush-fitting door handles for added convenience.

Mahindra BE.05: Interior

Inside, the Mahindra BE.05 electric SUV showcases a dual-spoke multifunction steering wheel with backlit BE badging. The interior features a dual digital screen setup, combining an instrument cluster with a touchscreen infotainment system. Other highlights include an airplane-inspired gear lever, drive mode selector, front armrest, start-stop button, and cup holder. Additional offerings may include a head-up display and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Mahindra BE.05: Powertrain

This upcoming electric SUV is built on Mahindra’s INGLO architecture, specifically designed for electric vehicles. It will feature a 60 kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors, providing power to each axle. The BE.05 is expected to deliver a remarkable range of around 500 km on a single charge.
