In sectoral indices, Nifty Auto rose 0.18%, Nifty FMCG jumped 0.58%, and Bank Nifty gained 106.80 points or 0.24% to 43,729.70. However, Nifty IT dipped 0.24%, and Nifty Metal plunged 0.57%.
Top Gainers and Losers on Nifty 50
The top gainers on Nifty 50 were Tata Consumer Products, Cipla, Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, and UPL. Meanwhile, the losers were JSW Steel, BPCL, TCS, Power Grid, and Apollo Hospital.
