The VLF Tennis e-scooter is set to launch in India with a 1500W variant, produced locally at a plant in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This marks VLF as the second Italian two-wheeler brand to manufacture in India, following Aprilia.
To strengthen its presence, VLF plans to establish 15 dealerships in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, with intentions to expand to 50 by the end of the fiscal year.
VLF Tennis 1500W: Key Highlights
The Tennis 1500W will be available in three color options: Snowflake White, Fire Fury Dark Red, and Slate Grey. Equipped with a 2.5 kWh battery, it generates a maximum torque of 157 Nm and reaches a top speed of 65 km/h, with a range of 130 km on a single charge. Charging the battery takes approximately three hours.
In comparison, the international 4000W variant offers a maximum torque of 232 Nm, a top speed of 100 km/h, and a range of 100 km when maintained at 40 km/h, with a five to six-hour charging time.
Weighing just 88 kg, the Tennis 1500W features disc brakes, telescopic hydraulic forks, and a five-inch digital TFT display. It also provides three driving modes: Eco, Comfort, and Sport, all while riding on 12-inch wheels with LED lighting.
