Vande Bharat Express: Karnataka to Get Second High-Speed Train
Karnataka is all set to receive another Vande Bharat Express train, which will run between Bengaluru and Hubli-Dharwad. The new eight-car train reached the Krantivera Sangolli Rayanna station in Bengaluru on the previous day and will be inaugurated by PM Modi on June 26. This will be the second Vande Bharat train for Karnataka, with the first one already running between Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mysuru.
The Vande Bharat Express train between Bengaluru and Hubli-Dharwad will run six days a week, except for Tuesdays. The train will start from Yeshwanthpur railway station in Bengaluru and will have only one stoppage during its journey. The train will complete the journey in seven hours. The arrival of the new Vande Bharat Express train at KSR Bengaluru has set the stage for the launch of the second high-speed train to connect Bengaluru and Hubli-Dharwad.
PM Modi will inaugurate five Vande Bharat trains simultaneously in the country this month, including the Bengaluru-Hubli train. The Ministry of Railways has announced that PM Modi will virtually flag off the trains at four other places.
Currently, 18 Vande Bharat trains are running in different parts of the country, including New Delhi to Varanasi, Gandhinagar to Mumbai, and Mumbai to Shirdi. The Vande Bharat Express trains are known for their speed, comfort, and safety features, making them a popular choice among passengers.
