I-T raids conducted in multiple locations in Karnataka

Prior raids in Bengaluru
In a similar operation conducted on October 12, the I-T department had conducted simultaneous raids in 50 locations, targeting offices and residences of jewellers in different parts of Bengaluru. During these raids, Rs 100 crore in cash was found. It is believed that the cash was intended to be used during the upcoming Assembly elections in five states.
