In a proactive effort to enhance its digital infrastructure and improve overall customer experience, HDFC Bank has announced a scheduled system maintenance on Saturday, 08th June 2025, from 2:30 AM to 6:30 AM IST. During this four-hour maintenance window, Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services linked to HDFC Bank accounts will remain unavailable.
The temporary suspension of UPI services means customers will not be able to use their HDFC Bank accounts for any UPI-based transactions, including merchant payments, peer-to-peer transfers, and app-based money transfers such as Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, or Paytm.
To ensure continued access to digital transactions, the bank has recommended the use of its PayZapp wallet, a secure mobile payment solution, for all transactions during the downtime. Customers already registered with PayZapp can use it for bill payments, shopping, recharges, and peer-to-peer transfers without interruption.
HDFC Bank has advised its customers to plan any critical or time-sensitive transactions in advance to avoid inconvenience. The bank also recommends keeping alternative payment options ready and staying updated through official communication channels such as SMS, email alerts, or its website.
