According to the orders of the Superintendent of Police, a vehicle checking operation was conducted on May 13, 2024, under the guidance of the Additional Superintendent of Police and the City Superintendent of Police.

During the operation, two capsule vehicles (bulkers) with the registration numbers MP19HA0978 and MP19HA3071 were stopped and checked at the Juhla bypass post. It was discovered that both vehicles had been modified in violation of the registration conditions.

Upon inspection, it was found that there were only 18 wheels instead of the required number on both vehicles. It was determined that the vehicles had been modified by removing one axle each. As a result, the vehicles were in violation of the Motor Vehicle Act’s registration conditions. The vehicles were subsequently parked at the NKJ police station for further action.

Based on the violations, a total challan (fine) of Rs 12,000 was issued. Each capsule vehicle was fined Rs 6,000 under Section 52/182A(4), 51/177, and 94/177 CMVR of the Motor Vehicle Act. The outpost in-charge of Juhla Bypass, Subedar Monica Khadse, along with Police Officer Rajesh Kori, constable Deepak Chakraborty, and Duman Das were present during the vehicle checking operation.
