Hyundai’s Sportz car launched to counter Maruti Swift with sunroof features
Hyundai has launched a new i20 Sportz model with sunroof features to compete with Maruti Swift in the market. The starting price of this car is Rs 8.73 lakh. The car is based on the Sportz trim and comes with a manual gearbox. It offers both single and dual-tone color options, with the dual-tone variant being slightly more expensive.

The car is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 82 horsepower and 115 Nm torque. In addition to the base features, the i20 Sportz model offers three new features: wireless charger, leatherette door armrest, and sunroof. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox and is priced Rs 35,000 higher than the base Sportz model.

The price of the car ranges from Rs 7.04 lakh to Rs 11.21 lakh. The i20 Sportz competes with Maruti Baleno and Tata Altroz in the market. It is available in six color options: Nexa Blue, Pearl Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, Lux Beige, and Pearl Midnight Black. The car is powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine.
