What’s inside:

This article shares the latest update on a bus driver from Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, who was mistakenly reported injured in a recent blast in Delhi.

Recently, there were reports about a person from Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, being hurt in a blast in Delhi. However, it has now been confirmed that Tilak Raj, a bus driver from Hamirpur, was not injured in the incident.

The Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has issued a statement clarifying that Tilak Raj, son of Kishan Chand and a resident of village Kohli, is safe. His name was wrongly added to the list of injured individuals.

Tilak Raj had traveled from Hamirpur to Delhi on November 9, with bus number HP-67-8347. He planned to return to Hamirpur on the night of November 10, but fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Delhi for treatment.

While receiving treatment at LNJP Hospital in Delhi, an explosion occurred. At that time, people injured in the blast were also brought to the emergency room. This led to Tilak Raj’s name being mistakenly listed as a victim.

Currently, Tilak Raj is in stable condition and is expected to return to Hamirpur by bus this evening. The HRTC has emphasized that due to some misleading social media posts, confusion arose about his status.

Summary:

  • Tilak Raj, a bus driver from Hamirpur, was not injured in the Delhi blast.

  • His name was included in the injured list by mistake.

  • He fell ill and was admitted to a hospital in Delhi.

  • The incident occurred while he was in the emergency room.

  • Tilak Raj is stable and will return to Hamirpur today.
