Additionally, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are forecasted to experience rain between February 20 and 23, with strong winds (30–40 km/h) expected.

Temperature Changes Across States

The Meteorological Department reported that the day temperatures in some places in Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Saurashtra, and Kutch have increased by 1-3 degrees Celsius over the last 24 hours. States like Haryana, Assam, Meghalaya, West Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal also saw temperature increases. In contrast, some areas in Odisha experienced a drop in temperature by 1-3 degrees Celsius.

In Bihar, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, temperatures were above normal by 2.0 °C to 5.0 °C. Meanwhile, temperatures in Jammu and Kashmir, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and parts of Karnataka may rise by 1-4 degrees Celsius.
