JSW Renewable Technologies Limited, a subsidiary of JSW Neo Energy, has secured a significant technology licensing agreement with SANY Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. This collaboration will enable JSW to manufacture wind turbine blades locally in India, exclusively for its projects, thereby ensuring a reliable supply chain and reducing overall project costs.

JSW’s Development Goals

With an installed wind capacity of 2.2 GW and an additional 2.8 GW in development, JSW aims for self-reliance in critical renewable energy components. The company has ambitious plans to achieve 20 GW of total generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage by 2030, while targeting a 50% reduction in its carbon footprint by the same year.
