Gold and Silver rates experience fluctuations in evening trade

In the evening of June 8, 2023, the gold rates in India increased by Rs 17 compared to the morning rate and stood at Rs 59,587. However, it closed with a fall of Rs 441 per 10 grams compared to the previous trading day. The silver rates also fell by Rs 249 between morning and evening and closed at Rs 71,999 per kg. Despite this fall, the silver rate increased by Rs 175 per kg compared to the previous day.

Gold and Silver rates below all-time high

The gold rate is currently selling cheaper by Rs 2,059 from its all-time high, which was recorded on May 4, 2023, at Rs 61,646 per ten grams. Similarly, the silver rate is also trading below its all-time high of Rs 76,464, recorded on the same day.

MCX business in the evening

On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures trade of gold on August 4, 2023, is down by Rs 33.00 and is trading at Rs 59,470.00. On the other hand, the futures trade of silver on July 5, 2023, is trading at a level of Rs 72,240.00 with a gain of Rs 515.00.

International market trade in the evening

Gold is currently trading in the US with a gain of $ 1.24 at the rate of $ 1,945.70 an ounce. Meanwhile, silver is trading at a gain of $ 0.26 at the level of $ 23.71 an ounce.
