The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has planned the construction of eight Foot Overbridges (FOBs) on major roads across the city. An initial survey has been conducted to assess the required land, and the next step is to assign a company the responsibility of preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR).
Key Details:
- GMDA received requests for the construction of 20 FOBs.
- After conducting the survey, it was determined that locations such as Tau Devi Lal Park in Sector-23 and Bhimgarh Chowk on New Railway Road urgently need FOBs.
- The need for FOBs is being explored at three additional locations.
- Nine proposed locations were found to not require FOBs after the survey.
