Gda Takes Strong Action Against Illegal Constructions In Ghaziabad, Dismantling Five Colonies Despite Resistance From Developers And Police Intervention.

Action Against Illegal Constructions in Ghaziabad

The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is actively tackling illegal construction in the city. Recently, on Sunday, the enforcement team from Zone 3 of the GDA demolished several illegal structures in two villages, Matiala and Rasulpur Sikrauda. They used bulldozers to take down these constructions, which were part of five illegal colonies.

Details of the Demolition

The GDA’s enforcement team intervened at the initial stages of construction in these colonies. They completely demolished the boundary walls and even took down the colonizer’s office. Additionally, they covered the promotional signs selling plots with black paint. During this operation, there was a protest from the colonizer, but the police intervened to manage the situation.

Legal Actions Against Illegal Plotting

In a separate incident, the GDA has filed a First Information Report (FIR) against two individuals involved in illegal plotting and construction. According to the GDA’s Under Engineer, Anil Singh, unauthorized plotting was taking place on around six thousand square meters of land in Nurnagar without the necessary permissions. A stop-order and show cause notice had been issued to Shaukti Chaudhary, but construction continued. Consequently, the GDA took immediate action to demolish the illegal structures.

Another Case of Illegal Construction

Furthermore, the under engineer has also lodged a complaint against Upesh Tyagi for starting illegal construction on a 250 square yard plot in Sihani village. Although the GDA had sealed the construction site, it was reported that Tyagi resumed construction by breaking the seal.
