Driving License New Rules –
Starting from June 1, 2024, there will be significant changes in the process of obtaining a driving license in India. People will no longer have to pass a driving test at the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced new rules to make this process easier. Applicants can now take their driving test at authorized private driving training centers instead of RTO. These centers will conduct tests for license eligibility and issue certificates.
Aadhaar PAN and TDS News –
Link your PAN card and Aadhaar card by May 31, 2024. The Income Tax Department has instructed taxpayers to link their PAN cards with Aadhaar cards by this deadline. Those who fail to link them by this date may have to pay higher TDS.
Expensive Cars –
Audi, a luxury car manufacturer, has decided to increase the prices of its cars in India by 2% starting from June 1, 2024. The company cited an increase in input costs as the reason behind the price hike. In the business year 23-24, Audi India sold a total of 7027 units. In the previous business year, the company recorded a 33% increase in car sales.
New Rule for Credit Cards –
SBI Credit Card is changing its rules from June 1. SBI Card has announced that from June 2024, certain credit cards will no longer earn reward points on government-related transactions. The cards affected by this change include Ola Money, SBI Card Elite, SBI Card Elite Advantage, and many others.
LPG Cylinder Price –
The prices of LPG cylinders will be updated on June 1, as is done every month on the 1st. In May 2024, oil marketing companies reduced the prices of commercial cylinders, and it is expected that they may further reduce the prices of cylinders in June.
