Eligibility Criteria:
Families with an annual income of up to 1.5 lakh rupees are eligible to benefit from this scheme. This initiative is designed to include those households that earn up to 12,500 rupees per month, making sustainable energy accessible to a larger segment of the population.

Interested families need to undergo an application process, which can be done online. Registration is mandatory and can be completed at https://www.solarrooftop.gov.in/. Essential documents for the application include Aadhar card, address proof, electricity bill, income certificate, mobile number, bank passbook, and passport size photos.
