Sales have kicked off for both the Pulsar NS160 and the Pulsar NS200, which were recently introduced in the Indian market.

Both the Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar N160 have distinct designs, with the Pulsar N160 featuring a new-generation design while the Pulsar NS160 sports a streetfighter look. The NS160 is equipped with a wolf-eye type headlamp and halogen lights while the N160 has an LED lighting system. The new Pulsar NS160 comes in two colors – Ebony Black and Pearl Metallic White – whereas the Pulsar N160 is available in four colors, including Caribbean Blue, Racing Red, Techno Grey, and Brooklyn Black.

When it comes to hardware, the Pulsar NS160 has upside-down front forks, while the N160 comes with telescopic forks. Both bikes are equipped with mono-shock absorbers at the rear and disc brakes at both ends for efficient braking control. For enhanced safety, both bikes feature dual-channel ABS to prevent loss of balance during sudden braking. The Pulsar N160 boasts a full digital instrument cluster and LED lighting system, while the NS160 comes with a semi-digital console.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1.35 lakh ex-showroom and is available in two variants – single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS. The ex-showroom price of the N160 equipped with a single-channel ABS feature is Rs 1.23 lakh, and with a dual-channel ABS feature, it is Rs 1.30 lakh. The Pulsar NS160 competes with other bikes in the 160cc segment, including the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Yamaha FZ-S, and Suzuki Gixxer.
