Good News for NCR Residents
There is good news for people living in the National Capital Region (NCR). The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is making plans to build new houses in areas of Ghaziabad that are close to Delhi and Noida. They are currently searching for vacant land in places like Indirapuram, Vaishali, Pratap Vihar, and Kaushambi.
New Housing Plans in Ghaziabad
The GDA has started preparations to create new housing options in these areas. During a recent survey, they discovered four vacant group housing plots, covering about 30,000 square meters in Indirapuram. These plots were originally meant for group housing, but now the GDA plans to convert them into residential plots. They are currently working on the layout for this area and aim to introduce more than 110 plots.
Investment in Development
In addition to the new plots, the GDA is investing around Rs 3.15 crore in development work. The authority has also identified 16,000 square meters of vacant land in Vaishali, where they plan to introduce a plot scheme as well. Similar surveys are taking place in Pratap Vihar, which is also near Noida, to explore development opportunities on the vacant land there. A survey of the Kaushambi area has already been completed.
Increased Revenue for GDA
GDA officials believe that selling plots on the vacant land will boost the authority’s income. This additional revenue will enable the GDA to undertake various new projects in the future.
Focus on Accessibility and Environment
The GDA emphasizes that many people working in Delhi and Noida prefer to live in areas like Indirapuram and Vaishali. Keeping this in mind, they are prioritizing these schemes to make it easier for residents to commute to work in the capital region.
Furthermore, the GDA officials have stated that they will pay special attention to greenery and wide roads while designing the layouts for these schemes. Plans include parks and green spaces to enhance the environment.
Atul Vats, Vice President of the GDA, mentioned that they are actively surveying land under their plans to ensure that residential schemes can be developed on the identified vacant plots.
