The operating cost of the Tesla Robotaxi is estimated at 20 cents (₹16) for every 1.6 kilometers driven. Production is set to begin in 2026. Alongside the Robotaxi, Tesla introduced the RoboVen, a larger autonomous vehicle designed to accommodate up to 20 passengers with additional luggage space.
Innovative Design and Safety Features
This fully self-driving electric vehicle will lack traditional pedals and a steering wheel, relying instead on rapid sensors for obstacle detection. Passengers simply input their destination, and the Robotaxi takes care of the rest. Notably, the vehicle features a stylish design, though its cabin is compact, ensuring safety and comfort for two occupants.
