Electric Car Catches Fire on NH 53

 

An electric car moving on NH 53 passing through Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh caught fire. Within no time the Volvo C40 Recharge SUV electric car turned into a ball of fire. Seeing smoke coming out of the car, the people in the car jumped out and saved their lives. Before people could do anything, this electric car worth around Rs 60 lakh was burnt to ashes.

 

 

4 Friends Were Going from Raipur to Sarsiwa

 

Saurabh Rathore, resident of Raipur, was going from Raipur towards Sarsiwa with his three friends. Meanwhile, a car suddenly caught fire while moving near Jagdishpur under Basna police station area of Mahasamund district. At present it is not known what caused the car to catch fire.

 

 

Quick Thinking Saved Lives

 

However, it was fortunate that the people traveling in the car saw the smoke rising from it in time. As soon as they got the chance, they jumped out of the car. If there was some delay or there was some technical fault in the car and the doors of the car did not open, all four people would have been burnt alive.
