Electric Buses to Start Operating in Haryana from January 29

375 electric buses will be introduced in Haryana, with 5 buses starting operations on January 29. The first phase will cover nine cities including Panipat, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Karnal, Ambala, Sonipat, Rohtak, Hisar, and Rewari.

By April, all nine districts will have a total of 375 electric buses, and the plan is to expand to all districts in the future.

Each charging station will have 10 to 12 points, allowing multiple buses to be charged simultaneously. The buses will be deployed in both urban and rural areas, with a seating capacity of 45.
