Due to these reasons your PM Surya Ghar Yojana may stop
The Government of India is continuously promoting solar energy through several schemes and subsidy programs. The plan aims to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030. To promote the use of solar energy, the government has launched PM Suryaghar Yojana – Solar Rooftop Scheme. Under this scheme, subsidy is provided for installation of solar panel system so that more and more people can adopt solar energy.
There are certain rules and guidelines that need to be followed to avail the subsidy. Sometimes non-compliance of these rules may make the beneficiary ineligible for subsidy. In this article we will talk about the reasons due to which your subsidy may be stopped.
Know the reasons why your solar subsidy has been cancelled.
To get the subsidy, you have to install the solar system within the specified time frame. Failure to do so may stop your subsidy. Always provide accurate information in your application form and make sure the information matches all your documents. Any discrepancy in your name in the electricity bill or other documents can cause delays or problems in receiving the subsidy.
You must have enough space and own the house to install the solar panel system. Tenants are not eligible for subsidy under this scheme. To avail the subsidy you must have an individual bank account and ensure that the name on your electricity bill matches the name in your bank account and other documents. Subsidy under this scheme is available only for on-grid solar systems. If you want to avail subsidy then make sure you install an on-grid system.
What to do if you don’t get subsidy
Once you apply for PM Suryaghar Yojana and your application is accepted then you should wait for 30 days for the subsidy to be credited to your bank account. If subsidy is not received after 30 days, you will have to contact the seller from whom you had installed the solar system.
How to apply for subsidy
First of all visit the official website of PM Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme (pmsuryaghar.gov.in). After this, on the homepage, click on the option “Apply for Rooftop Solar”. After this a new page will open where you will have to select your state, district and electricity distribution company. Enter your electricity consumer number, mobile number and email ID. Click on “Register” to complete the registration process.
After successful registration, log in using your consumer number and mobile number where an application form will appear and fill in all the required details. Your application will then be reviewed for feasibility by your electricity distribution company (DISCOM). Once approved, you will be notified. Then after approval, choose a vendor from the list of vendors registered with your DISCOM and install the solar system. Once installed, apply for a net meter and register your solar system details through the portal.
The net meter will then be installed and after completion of the DISCOM inspection, a commissioning certificate will be generated through the portal. Upload your bank account details and scanned copy of canceled check on the online portal. Your subsidy will be deposited in your bank account within 30 days.
Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has reported a strong financial performance in its latest quarterly earnings report. The tech giant saw a 34% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, reaching a total of $61.88 billion. This growth was driven by a surge in online advertising revenue, with Google’s advertising business seeing a 32% increase.
The company’s cloud computing division also performed well, with revenue growing by 45% year-over-year to $4.05 billion. This growth was fueled by increased demand for cloud services as more businesses shifted online during the pandemic.
Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, highlighted the company’s focus on innovation and investment in new technologies. He noted that Alphabet continues to invest in areas such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and autonomous vehicles.
Despite the strong performance, Alphabet’s stock price dipped slightly in after-hours trading following the earnings report. Analysts attribute this to concerns over potential regulatory challenges facing the tech industry, as well as uncertainty surrounding the global economy.
Overall, Alphabet’s latest earnings report reflects the company’s continued dominance in the tech industry and its ability to adapt to changing market conditions. With a solid financial foundation and a focus on innovation, Alphabet is well-positioned for future growth.
