Two major projects have been initiated to improve traffic flow on the Chhijarsi and Parthala Signature Bridge. The Greater Noida Authority has taken steps towards the construction of a flyover in front of Chhijarsi and an underpass below the Parthala Signature Bridge.
These two projects are part of the Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad (FNG) corridor, with the hope of significant improvements in traffic convenience in the area. 🚗🚧
The Authority is in the process of selecting a specialized agency to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for these projects. The chosen agency is expected to conduct a comprehensive study of traffic pressures, project requirements, and future needs at both locations and present a detailed report. Based on this report, the Authority will estimate the cost of these projects and allocate the necessary funds for construction. 💰📋
After the completion of the DPR, construction work will accelerate, according to Authority officials. The flyover in front of Chhijarsi will be approximately 600 meters long and will alleviate a significant traffic junction near the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. Service lanes will be constructed on both sides of the flyover to allow smooth flow of traffic below without any obstruction. 🛣️🌉
Currently, traffic jams in front of Chhijarsi have become a serious issue. Long jams occur in this area, especially during morning and evening hours, causing difficulties for vehicles coming from the Delhi-Meerut Expressway towards Vijay Nagar. Narrow roads, illegally parked vehicles on the road, and encroachment of the market are major causes of congestion. Many times, drivers are stuck in these jams for up to an hour, resulting in wastage of time and fuel. 🚦🚙
After the construction of the flyover and underpass, it is hoped that the traffic pressure in this area will significantly decrease, providing relief to local residents and regular commuters. The completion of these projects will also make travel on the FNG corridor more convenient and safe, proving to be a significant step in the development of the area. 🌟🚗
