Residents of Delhi will soon have access to 720 new car parking facilities as the Delhi Municipal Corporation Administration has completed the construction of three new multilevel car parking facilities in different zones of the city. The construction of these parking lots has cost more than Rs 20 crore.
- 399 multi-level car parking facilities in Greater Kailash in the South Zone
- 225 car parking facilities at Punjabi Bagh in the Western Zone
- 96 multi-level car parking facilities at Nigam Bodh Ghat in the Civil Lines Zone
Upcoming Parking Facilities
A senior officer of the corporation stated that the construction work of these parking facilities has been completed and they will be available to the public in the next two months. In addition to the multilevel parking facilities, surface parking lots are also being prepared in these zones.
Digital Payment Options
Delhi Municipal Corporation has introduced digital payment options in eight parking lots, allowing people to pay parking fees through the Fastag system. This initiative aims to streamline the parking payment process and enhance convenience for the residents.
