The gang’s modus operandi involved identifying specific make and model vehicles, conducting recce in the Delhi/NCR area, and committing the crimes during the night hours. They used specially designed screwdrivers or software tabs to break open locks or prepare duplicate keys, allowing them to steal the cars within seconds. The stolen vehicles were then delivered to the first receivers, who would prepare fake registration certificates before selling the cars at high prices.
