There is good news for the residents of Noida and Greater Noida. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the new metro line to be built from Botanical Garden to Sector-142 to Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). After getting the approval of this project, NMRC will start the construction of this metro line.
Features and benefits of metro line
A total of eight stations will be built on this metro line, which will connect the high-rise societies, industrial units and commercial sectors located along the Noida Expressway.
The construction of this new line will improve connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida and make travel convenient.
Interchange Station Facility
There are plans to build a big interchange at the Sector-142 station of the Aqua Line, which will enable passengers to easily reach the Botanical Garden metro station, which is already connected to the Blue Line and Magenta Line.
Project cost
It is likely to cost Rs 2254 crore 35 lakh to prepare the metro station on this metro route.
Further process
After getting the green signal from both the authorities and NMRC, this metro line will be sent to the state government for approval, and then to the central government.
