Approval has been granted for three new corridors under Delhi Metro Phase 4, providing significant convenience in commutation for Delhi residents. These three corridors are expected to be completed by 2025.

New Corridors:

  • Janakpuri West to Ramakrishna Ashram: This corridor will be 29.262 kilometers long and will include 22 metro stations.
  • Delhi Aerocity to Tughlakabad Station: This corridor will be 23.622 kilometers long and will include 15 metro stations.
  • Majlis Park to Maujpur: This corridor will be 12.318 kilometers long and will include 8 stations.

 

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal stated, “Approval for three new corridors under Delhi Metro Phase 4 has been granted. These three corridors will be completed by 2025, offering significant convenience in commutation for Delhi residents.”

 

The Delhi government will ensure all necessary steps to transfer the required land for metro projects without any obstacles and hand it over to the DMRC.

Total Six Corridors:

A total of six corridors will be constructed under Delhi Metro Phase 4, with three already approved. Approval for the remaining three corridors is also expected soon. This MOU is between the Government of India, Delhi Government, and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC).
