The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) have joined hands to make traveling more convenient for everyone. On Wednesday, NCRTC Managing Director Shalabh Goyal and DMRC Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar signed an important agreement that will allow passengers to book tickets for both the NaMo Bharat trains and Delhi Metro through a single app.
A Big Step for Daily Commuters
This partnership is expected to benefit millions of people who travel daily in Delhi and the surrounding areas. Now, with the RRTS Connect app, passengers can easily book tickets for both the NaMo Bharat trains and the Metro. Similarly, the DMRC app will also allow passengers to book NaMo Bharat train tickets.
Connecting the Tracks of NaMo Bharat and Metro
The NaMo Bharat trains are set to connect with the 393-kilometer-long Metro track. By next year, stations like Anand Vihar, New Ashok Nagar, and Sarai Kale Khan will have both NaMo Bharat and Metro services available together.
This collaboration is a significant step forward in making daily travel more seamless and efficient for everyone in the Delhi-NCR region.
