In response to the inconvenience faced by passengers due to overcrowding on trains, especially on the Indore route, Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Indore. These measures come as a relief for commuters struggling to secure confirmed tickets amidst rising demand.
Introduction of Special Train Services
Railways will introduce a special train with number 09309, which will run between Indore and Hazrat Nizamuddin. The service will operate every Friday and Sunday, departing from Indore at 5:00 PM and reaching Hazrat Nizamuddin the following day at 4:30 PM.
Similarly, the return journey will be facilitated by train number 09310, departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin every Saturday and Monday at 8:20 AM, and arriving at Indore by 9:00 PM.
Scheduled Halts
The special train service will stop at various stations including Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Shamgarh, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, and Mathura Railway Station.
The coaches will comprise of General, Sleeper, and AC classes, catering to passengers with diverse travel requirements.
Future Prospects
Railway authorities are actively reviewing routes to identify areas with high passenger demand. Accordingly, additional special train services will be introduced to alleviate the inconvenience faced by travelers.
