Due to this, partial clouds will linger in the sky for the next few days, accompanied by a slight increase in temperature. There is a possibility of light rainfall with thunder in some areas of Delhi between April 13th and 15th.
Temperature Variation in Delhi:
As per the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature recorded in Delhi was 37.1 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees Celsius above normal. This is the highest temperature recorded so far this month. The minimum temperature was recorded at 17.4 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees Celsius below normal.
Hottest Areas in Delhi:
The maximum temperature in Pitampura reached 38.9 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest area. The previous day, the maximum temperature was 35.6 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was 16.3 degrees Celsius.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Pitampura is expected to be 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 18 degrees Celsius.
Regional Director of the Meteorological Department, Kuldeep Srivastava, mentioned that light rainfall is expected on April 14th and 15th. During this time, the temperature may decrease slightly. Therefore, there is no likelihood of heatwave conditions persisting until April 16th.
Partial Increase in Pollution Levels:
There has been a partial increase in pollution levels in Delhi, resulting in a slight rise in the Air Quality Index (AQI). However, the AQI remains below 200. Consequently, the air quality in Delhi remained in the moderate category on Monday.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), local factors could lead to poor air quality in Delhi on Tuesday. Subsequently, there may be an improvement in pollution levels, and the air quality may reach the moderate category on Wednesday.
