The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy winds and rainfall in Delhi-NCR on February 19th and 20th. On Friday, the minimum temperature recorded in Delhi was 7.3 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather department, Saturday (February 17th) is expected to have clear skies during the day with temperatures hovering around 26 degrees Celsius.
Issuing a fresh alert, the IMD stated that light showers and thunderstorms are likely during the nights of February 19th, 20th, and 21st. Additionally, scattered rainfall and winds blowing at speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are anticipated in various locations.
Over the next 24 hours, Jharkhand and northern Odisha are expected to experience rainfall in different areas, while Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Nagaland may witness thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and rainfall.
The weather department has cautioned that in the coming days, northeastern states may experience rainfall, while Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, may encounter rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning.
