Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has big plans in the works! Near the Indira Gandhi International Airport, an International Bus Terminal (ISBT) is set to be established. 🚌
🍔 The ISBT will feature a food court for hungry travelers. 🔌 You’ll find charging stations for your devices. 🌏 It will connect flights to buses from every state.
What’s more, the ISBT will come with its dedicated bus stand and parking area, ensuring a hassle-free experience for those arriving by bus at the airport. 🅿️✨
🚇 DIAL has devised a plan to create an intermodal transport hub near the Aerocity Metro Station, which will include the ISBT.
This initiative aims to improve convenience for passengers, especially those traveling from other states. Upon landing at IGI Airport, travelers from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, or Uttarakhand often face hefty taxi or cab fares. 🚖💰
The ISBT will change the game by offering daily private luxury and government buses from various states directly to the airport. 🚌✈️
Currently, the system is quite disorganized, with buses arriving at the airport to pick up passengers without designated parking spaces. This often results in chaotic scenes and expensive parking fees for buses at the airport. 🚍💸
The proposal is currently under consideration by the Delhi Transport Department. Once approved, it promises to be a game-changer for travelers coming to and from the airport. 🙌 Stay tuned for more updates!
