Delhi Development Authority’s New Housing Initiatives
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has recently unveiled an exciting plan to provide approximately 40,000 flats through three different housing projects aimed at various income groups. This initiative is part of the newly approved ‘DDA Affordable Housing Scheme 2024’. The flats will be constructed in several locations, including Ramgarh Colony, Siraspur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini, and Narela. One of the key aspects of this scheme is that the flats will be sold on a first come first serve (FCFS) basis, with around 34,000 units expected to be available for purchase starting at a price of about Rs 11.5 lakh.
Variety of Options for Different Income Groups
The DDA is committed to addressing the affordable housing needs of the community by offering various types of flats under the General Housing Scheme 2024. This includes High-Income Group (HIG), Middle-Income Group (MIG), Low-Income Group (LIG), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) flats, which will be available at locations such as Jasola, Loknayakpuram, and Narela. What’s more, these flats will be offered at the same prices as in 2023, ensuring that there won’t be any price hikes. The starting price for these units is around Rs 29 lakh, and approximately 5,400 flats are anticipated to be included in this scheme.
Exclusive Flats in Dwarka
Additionally, the DDA is launching the Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024, which will feature MIG, HIG, and higher category flats located in the prestigious sectors of 14, 16B, and 19B in Dwarka. These properties will be made available through an e-auction process, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to own a home in one of Delhi’s most sought-after areas. Approximately 173 flats will be offered under this initiative, with prices starting from Rs 1.28 crore. This is a fantastic chance for potential homeowners to invest in a prime location.
