On Wednesday, Chief Minister Atishi officially opened a new flyover stretching 2.2 kilometers from the Aparsha Border to Anand Vihar. This modern infrastructure project has successfully eliminated three major traffic signals, leading to a smoother and quicker journey for commuters. The new flyover is expected to significantly benefit thousands of passengers traveling between Ghaziabad and Delhi, making their daily commutes much more manageable.

The flyover, which comes with a hefty price tag of Rs 347 crore, offers several environmental and practical advantages. It will save an impressive 40 thousand liters of petrol and diesel daily, while accommodating around 1.5 lakh vehicles each day. This improvement means that commuters can now save 20-25 minutes on their trips compared to the previous situation. Not only will this ease the daily grind for approximately 50 thousand drivers from Ghaziabad, but it will also contribute to reducing carbon emissions by alleviating traffic congestion.
