Spiritual Highlights

Currently, Dhirendra Shastri Maharaj of Baba Bageshwar Dham is performing the Hanumant Katha, which will continue until September 11. Following this, Acharya Shri Aniruddhacharya ji will recite Shri Ram Katha from September 12 to 17, enriching the festive atmosphere with divine teachings.

Traffic Advisory Issued by Delhi Traffic Police

In light of the festivities, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory to manage the expected surge in traffic. Here are the key points:

Restricted Routes

 

    • No vehicles will be allowed to stop on Arihant Marg from Mukundpur Chowk to Azadpur Chowk (both carriageways).
    • Burari Chowk to Mukundpur Chowk on Outer Ring Road (both carriageways).
    • Shanti Swaroop Tyagi Marg to Bhai Parmanand Marg (Burari Chowk to Parmanand Colony).

Diversion Points

    • Red light on Bhai Parmanand Marg near Yograj Colony.
    • Alam Dam Road (Opposite Burari DDA Ground).

 

Avoid These Routes

 

    • Shanti Swarup Tyagi Marg and Bhai Parmanand Marg (from Burari Chowk to Kingsway Camp Chowk).
    • Outer Ring Road (Burari Chowk to Mukundpur Chowk carriageway).
    • Arihant Marg from Mukundpur Chowk to Azadpur Chowk (both carriageways).
    • Shah Alam Dam Road.

 

Police Appeal for Public Cooperation

The police have urged the public to avoid the restricted routes and consider using bypasses or public transport. Travelers using trains and flights are advised to leave home well in advance to account for potential delays. The police have also requested patience from all attendees.

 

Robust Security Measures in Place

To ensure the safety of participants and devotees, approximately three thousand Delhi Police personnel have been deployed at the DDA ground in Burari. Officers from the Outer, North-Western, and Outer-North districts are stationed throughout the area.

Additionally, 10 Deputy Commissioners, 30 Assistant Commissioners of Police, and 107 Inspectors have been assigned to oversee security throughout the five-day event. CCTV cameras have been installed and will be monitored from a central control room to prevent any security lapses.
