Delhi Police Solve the Murder of Mother and Daughter, Arrest Two Accused
Background
On May 25, 2022, a mother and daughter were found murdered in their house in Krishna Nagar of Shahdara district in Delhi. The incident had shocked the nation, and the police had been actively investigating the case.
The Arrest
After a thorough investigation and examination of around 300 CCTVs, the Delhi Police have arrested two accused in connection with the murder. Kishan, the tutor of the deceased daughter, and Ankit Kumar Singh, her brother-in-law, were arrested on June 4, 2022.
The Conspiracy
The accused had hatched a conspiracy on May 17, 2022, and named it Mission Malamal. On the night of May 25, they killed both of them by slitting their throats and fled after looting.
The Chase
After the revelation of the murder case on May 31, the police kept on raiding in search of the accused. The accused kept hiding in different places of Gonda, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Noida, and Delhi. The police chased them for 2000 kilometers and nabbed the accused.
The Victims
Rajrani (73) was a retired tabla artist from Akashvani, while her daughter Ginni (39) was physically handicapped.
The Delhi Police have solved the mother-daughter murder case, which had created a sense of fear among the people. The accused have been arrested, and justice will be served.
