Brother and sister injured in bike accident caused by car driver’s stunt
New Delhi. The brother and sister riding the bike had to bear the brunt of the car driver’s stunt in Jafarpur Kalan area. The accused drove the car at high speed and brought it near the victim’s bike and applied the hand brake due to which the car spun around on the road. Due to the collision, the bike fell into the field and both the brother and sister riding on it were injured.
A car rider passing by admitted both of them to the hospital for treatment. By the time the police reached the spot, the accused driver had fled from there along with the car. The police have registered a case of negligent driving against the accused car driver and are trying to identify him. The injured brother and sister have been identified as Abhishek and Pooja, residents of Daurala village.
In the statement given to the police, Abhishek told that on October 25, he was going on a bike to Mohalla Clinic located in Rawta village with his cousin sister Pooja. As soon as he reached near the clinic, a Swift car rider from Ghalibpur side hit him. After the incident, the car was unable to move, but the accused somehow managed to escape with it.
