In response to the increasing demand from passengers, the Indian Railways has announced a special one-way Vande Bharat train. According to reports, this new service will operate between Kochuveli in Kerala and Mangaluru Central. Set to run on July 1st, which falls on a Monday, this train aims to provide a comfortable journey for the heavy number of travelers on this route.
Train Schedule and Stops
The special train, numbered 06001 Kochuveli Special, will depart from Kochuveli Station at 10:45 AM and is scheduled to reach Mangaluru Central by 10:00 PM the same day.
This Vande Bharat train will feature 8 coaches and will make stops at several stations including Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Kozhikode, and Kasaragod.
Additionally, advance booking for this train has already started, allowing passengers to book tickets according to their convenience.
Additional Sleeper Coach for Veraval-Gandhinagar Express
In other news, the Western Railway has decided to add an extra sleeper coach to the Veraval-Gandhinagar Capital Somnath Express.
This move aims to enhance passenger convenience. The additional sleeper coach will be temporarily added to train number 22958, which runs from Veraval to Gandhinagar Capital, from July 1st to July 31st.
Similarly, train number 22957, running from Gandhinagar Capital to Veraval, will feature the additional sleeper coach from July 7th to August 6th.
