Adishwar Auto Ride India, the distributor of Benelli and Kiway motorcycles in India, has announced a price reduction for three of their motorcycle models. The Benelli Leoncino 500 now starts at ₹4.99 lakh after a price cut of ₹61,000.
The Benelli 502C is now priced at ₹5.25 lakh, which is ₹60,000 less than before. The Keeway K300 N has also received a price reduction of ₹26,000 and is now priced at ₹2.29 lakh. These prices are applicable at ex-showroom.
The Benelli Leoncino 500 and 502C models share the same 500cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 46.8bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque output of 46Nm at 6,000rpm. Both models come with a 6-speed gearbox, but do not offer a quickshifter.
On the other hand, the Kiway K300 N is equipped with a 292.4cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It generates a maximum power of 27bhp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque output of 25Nm at 7,000rpm. Similar to the Benelli models, it also comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
This is the second time that Keeway has reduced the prices of the K300 N. Last year, the price of both the K300 N and K300 R models were reduced. The Streetfighter’s price was reduced by ₹30,000, while the fully faired offering saw a reduction of ₹55,000.
The price reduction is expected to attract more attention to these motorcycles in their respective segments. Adishwar Auto Ride India assembles the bikes locally, which helps the company achieve cost advantages. Kiway also offers premium scooters, cruisers, and advanced-classic motorcycles in India.
