After this, the student has been admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad, where her condition remains critical.

Kirti Singh, a first-year B.Tech student at ABSE Engineering College in Ghaziabad, was returning home from college with her friend Diksha. Two miscreants on a bike followed them near the Dasna flyover in the Mussoorie police station area on the Delhi-Lucknow highway.

The miscreants slowed down their bike parallel to the auto and attempted to snatch the mobile from Kirti’s hand. However, Kirti held onto her mobile and fought back. In the process, she fell from the auto onto the road and was dragged for about 15 meters, resulting in a head injury.

After snatching the mobile, the miscreants fled the scene. The auto driver and Kirti’s friend, Deeksha, rushed her to a private hospital in Pilkhuwa, where she was diagnosed with a serious head injury. She was then referred to Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad for further treatment.

Kirti Singh is currently admitted to Yashoda Hospital, where doctors are closely monitoring her condition. The incident was initially reported to the Hapur Police, who then filed a case on behalf of Kirti’s father at the Mussoorie police station in Ghaziabad. The police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the bike number of the miscreants and ensure their arrest.
