There is good news for those who prefer traveling by Vande Bharat Express train. Another Vande Bharat train is about to run from Uttar Pradesh to the national capital New Delhi. According to the report, this train will run between New Delhi and Agra. The Agra-Vande Bharat Metro Express train may soon set out on its maiden journey.
Speed of 160 km/h
If we talk about speed, the Agra-Vande Bharat Metro train will travel at a speed of 160 km/hr. In such a situation, it will be seen giving a tough competition to the existing New Delhi Intercity service.
16 coaches, distance of 200 kilometers
The New Delhi-Agra Vande Bharat Express train will have 16 coaches. It is being told that it will pass through Agra and Lucknow stations before reaching its final destination New Delhi.
As per the current updates, the New Delhi-Agra Vande Bharat Metro Express will be trialled on the railway section in July. It is known that the distance between Agra and New Delhi is about 200 kilometers.
Morning timing
At present the intercity train running between Agra and New Delhi leaves from Cantt station at 5.50 am. In such a situation, it is believed that the timing of New Delhi-Agra Vande Bharat Metro Express train may also be in the morning.
Railways is emphasizing on Kawatch system
In fact, Indian Railways is now preparing to run Vande Bharat Metro between cities at a distance of 150 to 200 km. In this context, Railway Board Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jaya Verma Sinha gave important information.
He said that on Tuesday, the trial of the armor system was conducted in the Vande Bharat train between Palwal and Vridavan. It was a Vande Bharat train of 8 coaches running at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. Sinha himself assessed the armor’s capability while traveling in it.
This was successful and the train stopped automatically at the red signal with the help of the armour. The train followed all speed restrictions with the help of armor without any intervention from the loco pilot.
