With the new machine, doctors can administer chemotherapy to prevent cancer spread in the patient’s stomach more easily and on a larger scale. The hospital is the largest center for urology in North India, and more than one lakh patients visit the department every year. The new machine will benefit about 30-40% of patients with kidney, bladder, and prostate cancer, which has severely spread inside the abdomen.
