This morning, the forensic unit and bomb disposal team were examining the home of Gurpreet Singh in Jida village. While they were conducting their investigation, two more blasts took place around 1.30 to 2.00 PM. Drones have also been deployed to assist in searching the area.

The earlier incident happened on September 11 when a bomb exploded while Gurpreet Singh was handling some items he had ordered. He was injured during that blast and is still receiving treatment in the hospital. Another explosion occurred when his father was collecting the items afterwards.

Important points to note include: there have been a total of four explosions in this house; the investigation is ongoing; and police are treating this as a serious case possibly linked to terrorism, especially after finding a number related to a known terrorist in Gurpreet Singh’s phone.
