Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced a price cut on many of its personal care and food products. This change comes after a recent reduction in Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates. The new prices will be effective from 22 September.

In the personal care range, the price of Dove shampoo (180 ml) is now ₹145, down from ₹165. Lifebuoy soap (100 gm) will cost ₹35 instead of ₹40, and Lifebuoy handwash (125 gm) is reduced to ₹30 from ₹33. These adjustments aim to make essential hygiene products more affordable.

For food items, Kissan jam (500 gm) will now be priced at ₹140, down from ₹160. Bru coffee (100 gm) will also see a price drop from ₹390 to ₹350. These changes are expected to lower everyday expenses for consumers.

HUL will introduce new packaging with the updated prices clearly shown. Additionally, they will launch advertising campaigns to inform customers about these changes and the benefits from the GST reduction.

Customers can look forward to new packs in stores soon. The price changes are designed to provide better value for money on everyday products.
